Dirtsurfing

Dirtsurfing is a sport targered at snowboarders and surfers. It constist on riding a Dirtsurfer brand inline board.This board was designed in Australia, the low-tech, high-speed device consists of a traditional skateboard, tricked out with a system that moves independently from the deck. The board’s two-wheeled, inline design leans with the rider,imitating the fluid-turning motion of surfing and snowboarding.It keeps enthusiastics boarders satisfied even without fresh power to snowboard on or monster waves to surf.

Dirtsurfing is a growing trend in extreme sports.Reaching speeds up to 112Km/h making the sport thrilling and dangerous at the same time.

Underwater Rugby

Underwater rugby is not very famous nowdays,however it is becoming more popular.

2 teams with the same goal, introducing the ball inside the goal of the opponet team. Apparently it's not very difficult,right?The players have, apart from their swimsuit a cap of identification, fins, masks and snorkel.So far we can not see anything unusual.

Nevertheless,bearing in mind that the goal is at a depth of 3.5 to 5 meters,now it is not as simple as we thought.Another fact is that as this sport is performed underwater the players need to have a good physical condition in order to stay underwater a long time.Although when they can´t hold more the respiration they go out the water take air and submarge again.

Another interesting thing in this sport is the ball as you need a specific one in order to maintain it underwater.This ball is filled with salty water thank to this the ball can be desplaced up to 2 or 3 metres.

Monocycle adventure

Lutz Eichholz

With a  full speed Lutz crosses a track of mountain in his monocycle, faces the adrenaline of being kept in movement without falling down in the big precipices, is a frightening and exciting way of happening his free time.

He has travelled all over the world in order to enjoy his passionate sport. He also possesses the world record of the major fall of monocycle, landing of a fall of 6 meters from a rock that stands out in the desert of Morocco.

Giant Wave

Mike Parson a surfer that earn 66.000$ for ridinf a wave of 21 metres at Cortes Banck,CA.This is the highest price ever awarded in the history of professional surfing.

He also rides a 20 metres wave during competititon at the Jaws break on the north shore of Maui.This was filmed by helicopter and later on used as the opening scence of the film Billabong Odyssey

Frederick Lorz an American long distance runner.

He participated in the Olympics Games in 1904.In a marathon with a distance of  more or less 20 miles.Frederick only run 9 miles because he was tired and he can´t continue so his trainer took him by car the next 11 miles.Because of that he won the marathon.Later on he confessed about his cheating and the winner became Thomas Hicks.However he also cheat because he was under the effects of the drug.From this situation the athletes aren't able to take drugs in order to win any competition.

Catastrophic Accident

The LE MANS DISASTER occurred during the 1955 of Le Mans motor race, when a crash caused large pieces of racing car debris to fly into the crowd. Eighty-three spectators and driver Pierre Levegh died at the scene and 120 more were injured in the most catastrophic accident in motorsport history.
